The Atomic Disintegrator was the only space gun made by the Hubley toy company, and it set the gold standard! (Buck Rogers and Flash Gordon, eat your hearts out!)
This is a beautiful and solid metal cap gun from the 50's. It is awesomely detailed, with knobs and dials, and its name "Atomic Disintegrator" emblazoned on both sides. Pull the secret knob under the tip of the barrel to release the loading chamber!
This piece is in decent vintage condition, with a few bumps and bruises from years of space adventuring. The knob that releases the cap chamber has snapped off (which I will include, as seen in the last photo) but it can still be pulled with nimble fingers. The trigger mechanism still works perfectly and should be able to fire caps just as well as it did 60 years ago. Please view the large photos for condition of the metal which is nice overall but does have a few nicks and areas of corrosion. The plastic grips have some minor imperfections and swivel a bit around the screw. All that being said, this is one of the most iconic ray guns ever made and would look great in any collection! Don't let it slip away!
