I have corespun a batt like this to make a translucent mohair yarn using the technique in the book Intertwined by Lexi Boeger. I was able to attend Camp Pluckyfluff and I am very inspired.
I have also spun kid mohair and angelina batts into a beautiful fingering weight yarn with a nice halo.
Contents: 99% kid mohair, less than 1% angelina
Since these batts were carded from dyed locks, there is a small amount of vm left in them, most of which should fall out during spinning.
The last two pictures show some yarn that I corespun and some fingering weight that I spun with kid mohair and angelina batts. These yarns are for example only and are not for sale. (The corespun used about 2 ounces for the pictured skein. The fingering weight yarn showed is approximately 4.5 ounces)
