This is a Tibetan crystal quartz stone that has been treated with an organic phosphate and is non-toxic -- I did not treat them myself. The porous quartz crystal absorbs the compound. It's so cool! (the last pic is horrible, but you get the point.)
You do not need a back light to see the phosphorescence - the littlest expose to sunlight or indoor lighting will make these stones glow. You will not find these stones anywhere else...unless they got them from me!
