The bottom foam foot is mostly missing on the edges which is why I have wrapped it up with packing tape! I did this because the medical foam used to form the foot is fairly evil...it is sticky and cannot be removed once it hits fabric. So I've wrapped it up completely so it can't cause any trouble. Basically this leg just needs a cool shoe to slip on it and it would be great.
Measures 20.5" tall. It's in good condition with expected wear and some scratches/stains here and there (and of course the missing top piece and torn-up foam foot). Displays nicely, and would work well to beat an intruder with. Not that I have ever had to do that but since I don't play baseball, my prosthetic collection would definitely come in handy if my apartment was ever broken into, I was there, and needed a weapon.
Beautiful old medical collectible.
P.S. I keep my prosthetic collection in the hallway where it never fails to scare the bejeesus out of me on nights I wander half asleep to the bathroom. It is inevitable I will trip over one of the fake feet. Wouldn't you like to experience the pain of falling headfirst onto your floor by way of an antique wooden leg? It's more fun than it sounds, I promise.
