The Spirit of the evergreen is a lasting energy we do not see!
This 4 X 6 inch, postcard sized piece of quilted fiber art is one of an unnumbered series of evergreen trees in winter.
Chickadee is a great tree with several little chickadees dancing among the branches! The beautiful mottled blue background is awash with silver snowflakes. There is a fantastic white snowflake charm and clear glass beads accenting the snow on the tree.
Each quilt in this series was pieced,layered with batting, embellished, and the binding added. Then the mini quilt was layered with a 4 X 6 inch 140lb Cold Press water color paper, the binding turned and sewn through the backing paper making this a sturdy little piece of art.
These postcards are easily displayed leaning against items on your book shelf or on a small easel available in arts and crafts stores.
They can be mounted and framed as well, I would recommend not using glass.
