I have filled this 5 1/2" x 9" zine with 20 pages of articles and how-to’s, including:
• How to discover words to use in your art, and what to do with them once you’ve discovered them
• My favorite implements, or tools, to use in mixed media, my favorite paste products, and different techniques with paint
• A complete how-to project to create your own painted paper to use in your mixed media projects; I’ve also included free sample papers for you to use, and an Artist Trading Card made with the paper
• Examples of how to Leave Your Mark on your work of art
• Definitions of some words I’ve used in the zine
The zine is fully handmade, including a hand-painted cover (each zine has a uniquely colored cover, and tells you the paint colors I used in case you want to replicate those colors); pockets with examples you can use; pasted painted examples; hand-sewn binding on the edge; and extra notes in the margins.
This zine was created in a limited edition of 20. The extra copies will be sold here in my Etsy shop until they’re gone.
