These are one of a kind sparkling earrings.
They are part of my Ecailles series.
I have called them scales earrings because they are catching the light beautifully and their shimmering made me think of fish scales.
I have made them out of recycled aluminum that I have hand formed, hammered and brushed to give them that particular luster. I have enameled the inside with some golden enamel. No more struggle between gold or silver, they are both!
These unique scales are very light to wear and would be perfect to complete your New year eve outfit...

Ces boucles d'oreilles sont uniques.
Elles font partie de ma collection écailles.
Elles sont faites à partir de pièces découpées dans des plaques d'aluminium que je recycle (plaques d'imprimerie offset). Elles ont été formées et martelées à la main puis brossées pour leur donner cet aspect satiné de l'aluminium brossé.
J'ai peint l'intérieur d'une peinture Enamel dorée.
Avec ces boucles d'oreille plus de dilemme entre argent et or!
Elles seront parfaites avec votre petite robe noire...
Les attaches sont en argent formées et brunies à la main.
Elles mesurent 5,5 cm
