This original antique map is illustrated in yummy bright colors; all done in those gorgeous shades of Carnation Pink, Mint Green, Nougat Brown, Butter Yellow and Aquas that early mapmakers loved so much, with beautiful lettering done in German in Gutenburg calligraphy text. The lovely satin-finished paper measures 9.25" x 12.25" overall and it's folded at the center as it was when it was issued back in 1906.
'Geological Map Of The Alps' is printed on heavy paper stock and is in wonderful antique condition, folded in the center as issued; the paper is smooth, clean condition, without tanning or foxing. Blank on the reverse.This one's a real gem.
Matted and framed and displayed as a grouping, these lovely old maps are simply spectacular. (Please note that the framed examples in the last photo are to show how this might look when it's framed. Your map will come unframed.)
