This upcycled wonder burns denatured alcohol at a highly efficient rate, resulting in heat output similar to a gas range. The design is based on traditional light-weight backpacking stoves, put to years of rigorous testing in extreme conditions.
My cooking setup includes the stove, a priming pan to light it, and a folding pot support. The stove is constructed from two 16 oz Rolling Rock cans which have been sealed together using high-temperature epoxy, concealing an inner wall for strength and function. The pot-stand is formed from three pieces of steel wire. The priming tray is a piece of a steel food canister.
