I love Amy's gorgeous turquoise and bright pink hair, especially when matched to the colorplay in Swarovski's 2X AB beads and matching Toho round beads in Higher Metallic Junebug and Metallic Cranberry. The core beads are a fantastic silver lined dark teal that peep out in between the swirling bright colors.
Necklace measures 18", but it can be made shorter or longer at your request. No stringing wire has been used to make this necklace. All beaded elements were crafted by carefully stitching each bead into the required shape using a needle, nylon beading thread, and time. The thread has been treated with microcrystalline wax to keep it supple, and to protect it from wear and the elements. The ends are treated with jeweler's glue to provide additional security.
Beadwoven jewelry will last a lifetime (and longer) with proper care. You should not shower or swim in beadwoven jewelry, wash it, or expose it to higher than normal temperatures.
Care should be taken that the necklace is not crushed or overly compressed as it could cause breakage.
