Their vintage, antiquey finish lends them an elegant, shabby chic feel, and means they fit beautifully with modern and traditional schemes, and they really come to life when near candles or fairy lights.
I hand cut each tile and low fired them. I then added a glossy clear glaze to show off the natural whiteness and beauty of the porcelain and fired them to a very high temperature, which results in strength and durability. Finally I hand applied the real gold lustre letters and then fired them again to fuse them to the glaze.

Each triangular letter tile measures approximately 5cm (2 inches) x 3cm (1.20 inches) and 2-3 mm thick (approx 0.12 inches). The ribbon is 140 cm (55 inches).
