This antique chair is solid wood with very sturdy construction. Features hand painted folk art floral design with song birds on the seat back and decorative floral detailing around seat perimeter. The background seat and back color is actually a dark burgundy - not purple (photo's are inadequate at displaying the true color). Finished with a soft, hand rubbed finish. Protective poly coat and heavily distressed.
