A small cushion measuring 35cm x 35cms or 14" x 14" made from a whole 1m/y of striped Chichibu cotton, dyed and woven in Japan. This is 100% cotton fabric with an indigo base and woven stripes of about 2mm width in many colours. I have hand-stitched the sides with selvage facing out and hand-stitched the back envelope opening sashiko style with triple-strand embroidery floss in pink and peridot. The insert has been made-to-measure with cotton jersey and filled with Japanese 100% polyester pillow stuffing. All new materials have been used. For best results, cold wash the cover and iron hot.
