This is a rare Arabia of Finland piece and would be an amazing addition to your kitchen. The canister has a great typography design on it that includes the word flour in various languages. The base is ceramic and the lid is a heavy plastic, it almost feels like bakelite, and it has a rubber ring built into it to keep it somewhat airtight. It is marked on the bottom with the numbers 11-70 and I'm not sure if this is a date stamp but it would make sense since these canisters were made in the late 60s early 70s. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing on the ceramic base and just a couple of VERY small nicks out of the underside of the lid that are only noticed when you look really closely. There is also a spot on one side where the M is worn a wee bit on the word MJOL (see pic). Again, a very minor issue.
It measures 7 3/4" tall x 3 1/2" wide & deep.
