The Seattle houseboat community has over 450 floating homes. Many date to the early part of the 20th century, when they were used as modest housing for nearby mill workers. Later the area became something of an artists' enclave. "Historically, Seattle's floating-home community has possessed a quirky mixture of artists, bohemians, rebels and free thinkers who appreciate the unique experience of living on the water."
These prints are stunning and the web samples are small digital images that do not convey the rich colors and fine detail. I use archival paper and inks. I use an 8-color ink professional printer so that the color range, depth and saturation are truly amazing. These are gallery quality prints and will last a very long time if cared for properly.
All Photos’ are printed to a full 8X10” image. They are printed on 8 ½ X 11” archival photo paper and left untrimmed. I do this for 2 reasons; 1) It is better to have the image trimmed exactly to the matt or frame to be used; 2) the extra selvage helps protect the print during shipping. Any watermarks will not be in the photograph I send to you. They are unframed and un-matted.
Please remember that I preserve all the rights to my images; they are copyrighted by me and they cannot be reproduced by anyone.
Look closely at the photo of the item as what you see is what you are purchasing. Email me with any questions or special requests. I try hard to make sure all of my descriptions are correct.
