This hat is one of my favorites and will be hard to part with. It could be worn as Club gear, for a convention or be used for a New Year's Eve hat. This one definitely can be worn on all kinds of occasions when you want to feel glamorous.
I covered this hat with black glittery tulle fabric. To this I added black piping and Victorian style black and velvet chording to the crown and woven scroll chording to the brim. The side is flourished with a tulle fan and centered with a beautiful pewter Celtic Knot charm.
To the back I added lots of black marabou feathers cascading up the crown and down off the back brim of the hat. To top it off I added a handmade black satin bow. The underside of the hat is finished off with a red satin lining to give it a little kick and black satin with velvet knife pleat ribbon.
This hat is very glam. Perfect for a party night out.
The hat is 7.5" wide and 3.25" tall not including feathers, slightly larger than my other hats but still a mini to sit on top of you head not to be pulled down on it.
Hat has a hair comb attached to the underside for holding it to your head. You can wear it all day and hardly know it's there. Also since this is a larger hat, I can attach it to a headband or add a ribbon to tie it on, if requested, at no extra charge.
This hat is great for a Holiday hat, for costumes, conventions, Halloween, Masquerades, Weddings or any other fancy dress occasions as well as perfect club gear for Retro, Lolita, Steampunk, Victorian, Gothic, Burlesque, Pinup, Industrial, Punk, Vampire, Cyber, Harajuku, Cosplay, Circus Couture & Burning Man styles.
