This listing is for the Navy Blue color Sling. You can see other colors of BabySoft Ring Slings in the Newborn section of my shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/BabyEtte?section_id=7391896
One look at the meticulously pleated shoulder will show you the time and care put into each Babyette sling...feel free to zoom in! BabySoft Newborn slings have a unique, fishtail hem for a graceful drape. (Note: Newborn slings now come with straight triple-stitching on the shoulder as shown in the 3rd photo, no more decorative stitching for this type of sling)
This sling is finished all around in soft thread that will feel soft on your baby’s legs, while giving with the fabric. This is several continuous strands of thread interwoven over the edge of the fabric for a professional finish that is still very gentle on baby's skin.
The strong, aluminum rings are from Slingrings.com. They are tested for strength with your baby's safety in mind.
Your sling is handmade, so I am able to take special requests. I am a mama with over 12 years of babywearing experience, so ask away!
Photo instructions & tips will be included with your sling. And remember to harness the power of YouTube! Search "BabyEtteBoutique" to see my videos!
* Important* BabyEtte Newborn slings are intended for babies from 6 lbs to 20 lbs. Larger babies and toddlers should be worn in a more supportive sling. See my shop for MANY other options: http://www.etsy.com/shop/BabyEtte
**Important Info on Ring Sling Length**
Please type your sling length in the note to seller at checkout to avoid delays with your order : )
BabyEtte Ring Slings can be made in Standard, Tall, or Petite lengths. Lengths are measured from Ring tips to tail.
If you are tall and/or plus sized, or would just prefer the longer length, state in the 'Note to Seller' at checkout that you’d like the Tall size. Or, if you are very petite and slim, and a shorter sling would be better, you can request the Petite size at checkout. Otherwise, please still type Standard length, please" in the note to seller.
*Important*: Even though the title may say what length sling is ready to ship, I still need to know what length you want. Let me know if I should ship one I have ready, or make you a new one to order. Thanks!
** Newborn Safety: An upright, tummy-to-tummy position is safest, especially for newborns. This allows baby to be “visible and kissable” at all times. You should wear baby high enough to kiss their head. Keep baby's chin off their chest to make sure their breathing is unobstructed. This is important whether your baby is in your arms, a sling, or a carseat.

As always... and I know you know this, but I just gotta say it... your baby's safety is your responsibility. Please check your sling for signs of wear before each use. Practice holds over a soft surface, such as a bed, the first time you try them with your child. Please do not wear your child while doing dangerous things such as rock climbing, sky diving, or chopping wood. Hmmmm? ;)
