The fabric is firmly hand sewn to itself and is attached to an 18" sterling silver chain, bale, and a textured, hand formed disc that is made by melting silver shavings onto silver sheet (a process called fusing) with a torch.
Each piece is one of a kind due to the gradations in the fabric, and the nature of the fusing technique.
