I love coffee and sitting at the cafe, so I made this table thinking about the cafes in Italy. I lived in Tuscany, and remember the red poppies that speckled the hillside. Being from California, where our state flower is the poppy, I had only seen orange poppies before Italy. They seemed to me, so special.

Each piece I create is hand-cut in my studio and this particular table took about a month to make. I used travertine stone, verdi, rosa verona and noce marble. The jet black table base is imported- cast iron with intricate detail.
