We spend a great deal of time in the summer in the Adirondack Mountains of Upstate New York. A place where rustic charm comes alive. Everyday items from candle holders to coat racks are made from fallen trees, roots, bark, etc.
This past winter we had a terrible ice storm at home. We lost a lot of tree branches from some big old trees. We do not have a fireplace and decided we need to do something with some of the fallen branches. If we were at the lake in the Adirondacks, we would turn them into something useful or decorative. The idea of candle holders came to mind. Michael trimmed, drilled and sanded the fallen branches into little tea light candle holders.
No tree was harmed in the making of this wooden candle holder.
