This is a menstrual-lunar calendar that will help you follow your menstrual cycles throughout 2011. Folded in three, the calendar is the size of a card (3.37 x 2.125in), so you can keep it in your wallet and check it whenever you need it; or you can leave it unfolded and stick it to your bathroom's mirror, closet, diary, etc.
The back of the calendar has simple instructions in English and Spanish.
The calendar is digitally printed on a 300gr (thick) laminated (covered by a thin plastic layer) paper.

My attempt at making the calendars is to have a really useful tool wrapped in a cute façade that reflects us as strong happy women who are proud of our bodies and the way they work. My use of blood just intends to eliminate taboos that keep women ashamed of their nature. Yes, we bleed. And our blood is red, not blue!

Este es un calendario menstrual-lunar que te ayudará a seguir tus ciclos menstruales durante el año 2011. Doblado en tres, el calendario es del tamaño de una tarjeta (85.60 × 53.98mm), de forma que puedas mantenerlo en tu cartera y revisarlo cuando lo necesites; o también puedes dejarlo extendido y pegarlo al espejo de tu baño, closet, diario, etc.
La parte trasera del calendario contiene simples instrucciones en inglés y en español.
El calendario está digitalmente impreso en un papel de 300gr (grueso) laminado (cubierto por una delgada capa plástica).
Al hacer este calendario intento brindar una herramienta útil envuelta en una linda fachada que nos refleje como mujeres fuertes y felices orgullosas de nuestros cuerpos y la forma en la que estos funcionan. Mi uso de la sangre simplemente pretende eliminar tabús que mantienen a la mujer avergonzada de su naturaleza. Sí, sangramos, y nuestra sangre es roja, no azul.
