Handwoven in my rigid heddle loom, using wool yarn, hand dyed merino, textured novelty yarn for the warp and baby alpaca held together with mohair yarn for the weft. The combination makes a fuzzy and ultra-soft and cuddly fabric, in the colors of the frothing seas and mermaid's tails.
The length of the shawl (without fringes) is: 86 inches (218cm)
Fringes are: 5 inches (13cm)
Width of the shawl is: 21 1/2 inches (55cm)
Multi-functional; you can wear it as a shawl, a stole, a wrap around your shoulder or like an extra big scarf around your neck.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Hand wash with a gentle soap, gently squeeze out excess water, arrange and leave to dry flat. You can press it with a warm iron, using a cloth between the iron and the shawl.
