Who's John Stark?
John Stark was a General in the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War. Stark's military career spanned the French and Indian War, the Battle of Bunker Hill, and he is often considered the main hero of the Battle of Bennington.
This New Hampshire inspired design features an image of General Stark in the foreground in a bright shade of lime green set against a sea green faux bois background with 13 white stars at the top left. In 1945 Stark's ties to New Hampshire were forever cemented when the state chose his famous words as its motto.
