Who can forget Mrs. Haversham, the almost a bride who never took off her wedding dress or changed her room the day she was left at the altar alone? Dickens weaves another masterful character in Great Expectations and through a vivid description, readers can envision the aged bride in her yellowing wedding dress, never moving forward to a life she could have had!

Mrs. Haversham is dressed in ivory silk gown trimmed in pearls and braided trim. Her graying hair is styled with a few curls on each side, and she has a yellowing ivory veil with some petrified yellowing daisies.

All details of her face are painted by hand, this Dickens character stands a tiny 4 1/2 inches tall, (11.4 cm)
