Medium - Original Collage
Dimensions - Image size 8 x 8", paper size 14 x 11" for a nice wide border.
This is another new series of original collages in my shop incorporating materials that echo nature and are modified by nature. These collages were created using papers that I buried under leaves and left outside to weather naturally. They went through fall, winter, and spring before being retrieved in their altered state.
The weathered papers themselves are beautiful in their own right, but I have used them in these collages along with my own hand colored and hand-marked papers for a rich, textural and ancient feel.
These collages are created on a backing of heavy top quality acid free paper for ease of framing. Each collage fits a standard mat and frame.
This is an original, one of a kind work of art!
