A friend hounded me to make her a fish tea cozy, and I must admit, I'm glad I did. Definitely an angel fish and it will wrap your tea pot up in a 100%, 3mm, virgin, felted merino wool. I made this tea cozy pattern in the Japanese tradition of zakka sewing. Zakka is the Japanese word for "household goods" and they are traditionally functional, but also fun and lovely.

This gray felt has bright red stitching--just perfect for a morning eye-opener.

The finished size of this cozy is 12.5" width (excluding the tail) x 11" height; interior teapot space is 10"x9". I find this to be the perfect size for my three to four cup pot.

Spot clean with soap and water or dry clean.
