The Three Graces are the lovely daughters of the ancient Greek god Zeus and the nymph Eurynome. They represent beauty, charm, and joy. In ancient Greece and Rome they were found at banquets, dances, and other social events, bringing joy and goodwill to both gods and mortals. There are many interpretations of the Three Graces, this is mine. I based it on an early version (mid 3rd century B.C.) found in Rome and displayed in the Louvre.
Three Graces was cast in my home studio from a mold I made of my original plaster carving copying a historical piece. I will process your Three Graces sculpture with metallic Blue Topaz and Peridot Green over Hunter Green (Finish C 11 9). Like all such cast stone art, my work has some naturally occurring variation in colors and finishes. There is a metal hook in the back so it can easily be hung indoors or out. Unlike the Louvre's antiquity, this Three Graces is further protected by a UV barrier coating.
