The first card is from England and shows a fashion plate for the year 1833 (etching, coloured by hand after a drawing by E.T. Parris); there is some text written on the back of this card (hence, used, but not sent). The next two cards are from The Netherlands (Centraal Museum, Utrecht); one is a print from Euphrosyne, a magazine for Dutch clothing from 1832, and the other is a print from Journal des Dames et des Modes from 1836, representing a wedding gown with embroidery and lace. The last card is a folded card (not a postcard) showing a Norwegian book illustration from "Brudekjolen. Norske bryllupsmoter gjennom 400 år" (Wedding Gowns. Norwegian wedding fashion from the last 400 years) from Anne Kjellberg.
All cards come from my own traditional costume collection; because of space shortage, I sell parts of it here on Etsy.
Payment can be done by Paypal and within the EU also by direct bank transfer. Details on request.
