The main body of this bag is made from exclusive Harris Tweed in a green weave which I imported from a lovely shop located on the Isle of Harris. Harris Tweed is a luxury cloth that has been handwoven by the islanders on the Isles of Harris, Lewis, Uist and Barra in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, using local wool. The Harris Tweed label is sewn onto the back of the bag.
The handmade applique is made from faux suede in a cream color and was hand cut and machine sewn onto to the bag. The strap is made from faux suede and is adjustable from 28" to 46.5" end to end so you can wear it as a shoulder bag or across the body messenger style. The flap and is adorned with a wood button and has a magnetic snap to keep the bag closed. There is one zippered interior pocket, one interior slip pocket and a swivel key clip to keep your things organized.
All my Offbeat Messengers are made with two layers of fusible and one layer of thick stabilizer to add structure and durability. This is a structured bag that holds its shape.
