The ring is pierced and cut in areas, sandblasted, polished, and of course melted. The bezel rises up and out of the design, holds the stone securely while leaving most of it revealed, and is softened for comfortable wear.
The turquoise measures appx 9 x 8mm, is kind of a freeform pear shape, and is a fine, intense vivid blue with flecks of brown and quartz- definite markers of untreated Arizona turquoise rather than the cheap Chinese counterpart (which is often dyed).
The band itself measures about 10mm wide at its widest point, and tapers and pinches to as narrow as 5mm beside the stone. The diamond is appx 0.03ct, and the band is sizable by one size up or down (half or quarter sizes as well). Currently size 6.
