This slip has a slim sexy shape, thin adjustable straps, panels of sheer scalloped lace at the bust with unique asymmetrical detail, a thin band of slightly stretchy scalloped lace along the top of the back and another non-stretchy band of ric rac style lace along the bottom of the back and reaching around the sides; the hem is finished with a wider band sheer scalloped lace at the center on the front.
Part of the fun of dyeing anything is the surprise of how things turn out. (Like snowflakes - or people - no two are ever exactly alike.) This came out of the bath a deep woodsy green, except for the thin band of lace at the back and sides of the hem, which only took an a slight tint.
It's not a true solid, meaning it has a couple darker and lighter spots, which is just the nature of the process.

Made by Wondermaid
100% nylon (exclusive of trim)
Machine wash cold w/ mild detergent, delicate cycle; tumble dry low.
bust: 31"
length: 40" (with straps fully extended)
[Measurements are taken flat, then doubled - except for the length; for best fit, compare the measurements to a similar piece in your closet.]
This is marked a size 34. In terms of this type of lingerie I usually base fit on a woman's bra size. I wear a size 36 bra and this is quite snug on me; I'd say it's best for a 30 - 32" bust. Slips like these are somewhat forgiving though and can still look fabulous worn a little loose or a little tight - it really depends on how you plan to style and wear it.

A bit of the lace has been reattached / reinforced by the previous owner, on the right side of the hem on the front and at the center of the bust.
Otherwise in great vintage condition. This will arrive washed and ready to wear.
(PS: In case you're wondering about any "side effects" from wearing a hand-dyed slip around the house, or anywhere else - the pieces go through two fairly rigorous washings during the process which helps set the dye. To date I have never had any problems with bleeding or color transfer and I have two chairs covered in white fabric in my living room.)
