It is midwinter, and I’m dreaming of summer. I can’t wait for the ice to melt because as soon as it gets even a tiny bit above freezing, these shorts are going to be my new best friend. I want to pair them with heavy duty tights, boots, blazers, firelight, and friends. When summer does come, they will look equally amazing with light weight tank tops and oxfords. My dapperness will never cease. Made from a dedicated brown, navy blue, and olive tweed pattern that you can’t help but love for its commitment, it’s neutral enough to look good with just about anything. The pleated front and high waist give it the vintage feel that I have been obsessed with for years. The high waist is outfitted with belt loops to help keep things in place, while two deep pockets in the front give you plenty of room for slingshot ammunition and phone numbers. They are made for adventure, but aren’t opposed to indulgent midday naps or gigantic mugs of hot cocoa. Special emphasis on the hot cocoa. I may not be able to wear them yet, but it is summer somewhere, and I’ll be ready to trek through the woods when the times comes.
