The magestic Huia is now extinct. I have studied sketches to create this Huia as a plump, healthy, three-dimensional bird plushie.
Made life-size from pinstripe wool and filled tight with polyfil with intriguing details like hand-modeled eyes and orange wattles.
Has an embroidered loop to attach to wall.
However, quite at home nuzzled amongst cushions!
When you purchase your Huia you will be getting a hand made item which will have it's own quirks and personality, a one-of-a-kind bird friend.
