From 1939, these cards are sweet as can be. Embossed on the front and embellished with touches of gold, they open to reveal poems inside with darling illustrations. Both are marked "Made in the U.S.A."
The first card has a young gent serenading his love on the guitar. She is in silhouette listening at the window. On the front, it has the message "Please be My Love." On the back are the words "Cupid's Token" in a beautiful design of hearts and lace. This card is signed on the inside and is dated 1939. In very good used condition with one tiny tear on the front, it measures 3.25 x 3.75 inches.
On the front of the second card, a blond boy wearing a sailor suit is playing fetch with his black dog. It has the words "For My Valentine" in gold. In excellent condition, it measures 3.25 x 3.75 inches and is signed on the inside.
