The price shown is for a single subject, 13" x 19" portrait on Strathmore cold press 240# watercolour paper. Most of my commissions are for cats, dogs, horses, birds, fish, reptiles, and amphibians, but I enjoy expanding my repertoire into other species. I'm happy to paint pieces with multiple subjects, but prices vary, so please contact me for more details.

When you're ready to order, just email me a few high-quality photographs of your pet and any portrait requirement details (vertical or horizontal composition, selective focus, etc.). One of the photos will be the basis of my composition, but I prefer to work from a variety of photographs and a description of your pet's personality. Sometimes a certain mischievousness doesn't always show through in photos, you know?
A portrait usually takes 3-4 days, depending on my commission queue.
I ship all of my paintings with custom-cut mats, unframed. I use traditional, archival, acid-free materials, and I do not coat my paintings with any kind of UV protection. Follow this link for more information on how to frame and preserve your painting:
