Fashioned with gold-tone vintage chain... dangling smoky topaz-colored glass beads and antique gold balls add interest... along with a few brass filigree beads.
This piece is made from several flea market finds including an amazingly intricate butterfly pin with pearlized accents and a charming chocolate brown and gold-colored pill box with multiple butterfly designs. Nestled inside the locket you'll find a mixed media creation... a vintage baby's photograph — with wings added — in a nest of dried grass surrounded by a halo of tiny vintage pearls. Recycled book pages provided the text for this sentimental piece.
Length of necklace to first chain with butterfly pin is 18". Length to second chain is 22", with locket assembly hanging an additional 2.5". Finished with a lobster clasp closure.
