This is the yarn bowl that KNITTING TODAY MAGAZINE featured in its November/December issue.

Due to popular demand, my current stock of this yarn bowl sold out just days ago.

But because my studio never sleeps, several dozen bowls of this design are being thrown, carved, fired, glazed and fired again, and will be ready for shipment in January.

Double-fired pottery takes a full two weeks to create, and the durability and beauty of the finished product make it worth the wait. I know that you can appreciate the time that hand-crafted art takes to create - that's what makes the products available on ETSY so special - it is hand-crafted and one-of-a-kind.

Many customers have ordered this bowl as a holiday gift for loved ones knowing that it will not ship until January. If you would like to do this too, please feel free to purchase this bowl and I will be in touch.

I love all of my customers and am grateful for their loyalty and understanding.

What's so great about this yarn bowl is that you can simply thread the yarn end through the bowl's special opening, then knit or crochet up a storm, with the bowl allowing your yarn ball to stay just where it's supposed to be - in the center of your bowl instead of rolling around on the floor!

The bowl is glazed smooth, allowing your yarn ball to unroll without being hampered by lumps or bumps. The bottom of the bowl remains unglazed, ensuring that it stays where you set it.

Color-wise, this yarn bowl is delicious, with a silky smooth transparent green and chartreuse glaze that melt together to give this interesting color effect. Two carved flowers on the front give it sweetness.

Makes a nice gift for yourself or a craft-loving friend.

The bowl measures approx: 6" wide x 3 1/2" tall.

All pottery is hand thrown stoneware. My pottery is glazed using glazes that I mix in my studio. Much time and attention is put into the making of each and every piece.

All inquiries welcome.

Enjoy!
