This brilliantly coloured lithograph shows: Liparis dispar - Gypsy Moth, Cnethocampa processionea - Processionary Moth, Gastropacha pini- Pine-tree Lappet, Liparis monacha - Black Arches, Nun, or Spruce Moth
The size of the print: 12" x 9,6" (30,5 x 24,5 cm) including its border.
Printed in 1897, Germany, as an illustration for "Meyers' Konversations Lexikon".
The print is in good condition and the paper shows its age with a creamy patina, perfect for framing.
Concerning the age of the paper - cca. 115 years - some spots can be occured on the margin and the reverse side, but these do not effect the quality of the lithograph itself as it can be seen on the scan.
Please note, that by antique prints due to their age some imperfections are to be expected.
