This candlelight is hand thrown of white stoneware/porcelain clay on a potter's wheel. I carved and pierced the temple-shaped design freehand as the clay was drying. The turquoise-matte glaze feels very soft and buttery, and has a veil-like appearance where it's thicker. Choose a non-drip votive.
A beautiful comforting light for dark days! Put it on your table for tea or dinner, or in your reading corner.
All my work is lead-free, but this is an art glaze and not meant for wet food use.
