Our wood hair forks are amazingly comfortable and strong, and will hold your hair up well while looking stunning.
The tines are approximately 4 1/4 inch long(10.8cm) and the width across the tines is just over 2 1/2 inches(6.5cm)The width across the top is 4 1/4 inches(11cm).THis fork is for BIG Buns and alot of hair!The wood is not heavy and I regularly wear a walnut fork like this all day.
The steampunk decoration on this fork is one authentic vintage watch works, and several other smaller parts and gears stacked and attatched to fit the top of this fork, the 3 armed gear moves! a very cool looking hairfork.
We make each of these by hand so we will gladly accomodate requests for longer/shorter tines. We also do custom embellishing , if you would like a different stone or something carved.An addtional fee may apply.
We try to use rescued wood as often as possible, all types may not always be available.

How to care for your wooden hair toys!
1. Do not store them in the sun ,that includes in the car or by a window. But wear them in the sun and be happy!
2. Do not drop them!
3. Do not use them as a screwdriver or paint can opener!
4.They are natural wood, they CAN break…put as little sideways pressure as possible on them. WE do take hair pressures into account and under normal hair updos they should be fine, including lots of hair!
5.Do not let the dog have it!;0)
6.Even though they are sealed and would weather rain ,do not swim in them!
7.ENJOY!
If your hair toy from us breaks for seemingly no reason, please send the parts back and if it is not salvageable we will replace it, you just pay the shipping. If you drop or break it we will salvage it for a small fee or give a discount on a new one if it is not salvageable. We understand that life, kids, pets, and accidents happen! (salvageable would be, for example, to turn a broken 3 tine fork into a 2 tine and a single stick. We do not feel that a glue-up would be an acceptable way to save a fork.)
