This book is covered with Tiffany blue Lama Li paper printed in an elegant striped pattern in metallic gold. It is hand-bound in antique gold thread in a coptic binding style, which leaves the binding beautifully exposed on the spine, and allows the book to lay flat when open. The interior cover is adorned with metallic gold Lokta paper. A sheer gold bookmark ribbon embellished with an antique gold rose-shaped decorative bead adds the final finishing touch.
Would make the perfect wedding guest book, photo album, or journal for personal writing and spontaneous drawing.
Measures 5.75” tall by 8.75” wide when closed. Made with acid-free papers and archival-quality adhesive. There are 48 sheets of blank natural white paper inside, making 96 pages front and back, plenty of space for guests to write their blessings and advice for the bride and groom. I could also make the book with lined pages upon request.
Be aware that due to the handmade nature of the papers used, there may be specks and lumps in the paper fibers, creases, and ink inconsistencies visible. These are not to be seen as flaws, as they add a textural vintage charm, and ensure each book is one-of-a-kind.
Half of all profits from my sales go to support the Charis Project, a non-profit organization working in Thailand to rescue orphaned Burmese hill tribe children before they are captured and sold into sex trafficking. For more information, view my shop front page, or visit www.thecharisproject.org.
I also take special orders if you’d like a book of another size, more pages, another color, to add a personalization, etc. Just convo me!
