This Fabulous early Berry Basket is a Rare Find.
Many years back we purchased these from a farm in the east. Found in a barn of an old Berry Farm.
Usually the old berry baskets are those little square balsa wood style baskets ..you find so often.
This Basket is made of metal and originally was painted in red. Remants of the early red paint still show with the old patina'd metal peeking through.
The metal surround is nailed at the bottom into a wooden base ..and an iron handle made this basket super sturdy when filled to the rim with Berry Bliss !
The Basket is Wonderfully out of shape with dents, dings, and tattered charm !
It makes a perfect addition to the Kitchen or Home Decor. As it is or filled with some of your favorite finds !
It measures: 12 inches long x 6 inches wide x 5.75 inches deep and 8.5 inches tall to top of handle.
