This is a size 6 black stiletto, upcycled of course into a new life. I removed the top of the shoe, sanded it, drilled holes for drainage, and then planted it with two pastel succulents called graptopetalum paraguayense known as ghost plant. The plant forms faintly lavender pinkish rosettes.

The plants will come shipped with ivory moss, but I think this shoe looks great without the moss, too.

The succulent plants will need very bright light and just a little water from time to time. In return, they'll repay you with a stark reminder of how hard it is to...well, to be a woman.

sustainability: I use only natural and organic fertilizers and soil. most of my plants are from a local Berkeley grower who is 100% certified organic

Remember, Ginger Rogers did everything Fred Astaire did, but backwards and in high heels. ~Faith Whittlesey
