Coeur de fleur (flower heart) brooch - ceramic flower button, black felt flower, embroidery threads

This pretty brooch features a lovely ceramic button handmade by a Vancouver-based artist called Eikcam. The button represents a detailed blue rose and it is sewn to a 3-inch-flower made of two layers of black felt.

To give a touch of poetry, the whole composition is enhanced by red and white embroidery threads...

A nickel brooch pin is sewn to the back of the brooch.
