This item consists of 1 cat pincushion and 15 assorted pins. The majority of this pincushion was hand sewn. The cat pincushion is made of brown and olive green felt. His head and tail are orange and his body is olive green. His face consists of 2 black ballpoint pins for the eyes, 1 black ballpoint pin for the nose and 12 straight pins that make up the mouth and whiskers (6 for whiskers and 6 for the mouth). His feet are made from orange pom poms. He has a faux brown fur cape attached with brown felt shoulder armor and a brown felt belt with assorted decorations attached. He has a felt brown helmet with horns that I made out of clay and painted. The horns also have a ring of tan fleece going around them. He is holding a brown felt shield. He is firmly stuffed with 100% polyester fiberfill. I also made a sand pouch from cotton fabric and sewed that inside the pincushion which gives him more stability. The sand is wrapped first in a plastic bag (just to make sure no sand will ever escape) and then it goes into the cotton fabric pouch. He stands approximately 5.5 inches (14 cms) tall and measures approximately 10.5 inches (26.75 cms) around the belly.
This kitty makes a great gift for any sewer or is cute enough to be a decorative piece to add to any cat lover's collection!
