Large Lidded Casserole in Sky Blue Glaze - Wheel Thrown Stoneware Clay

Casseroles are great for roasts of any kind, favorite casserole recipe, beans, or any kind of cold salads. Stoneware is as great for hot foods, as well as cold foods, keeping the food hot or cold as needed while being served.

The Sky Blue glaze is beautiful bright blue glossy glaze, just like the sky on a perfect clear day.

The casserole bottom measures 3.75" tall and 6.75" tall to the top of the lid handle. It is 9.75" wide and holds 2.75 qts.

This pottery was thrown by me on a potter's wheel. The pottery is then reduction fired in a gas kiln to Cone 10, over 2300 degrees making it oven safe, dishwasher safe and microwave safe with care. This is a food safe glaze. All of my glazes are lead free.
