The necklace measures approximately 18" (45cm) in total length; approximately 15" (37.5cm) of genuine amethyst beads plus a length of sterling silver chain to make this piece adjustable and a sturdy lobster clasp closure. This Amethyst necklace is a gorgeous purple color and I have tried to represent the fabulous color of this piece the best that I can - please understand that different monitors will depict the color slightly different. When you receive this necklace, it will appear to be slightly tightly strung - don't worry! This is because it has just been strung and it will hang out straight once you have worn it against the warmth of your body. Strung necklaces tend to stretch slightly over time, so I compensate for this when I make the piece to ensure that it will still be beautiful in years to come.
