Hand-cast oval Madonna and Child wall sculpture. This is a white marble replica, cast from the mold of an antique wood-framed plaque. Though the original sculptor is unknown, the antique (also a reproduction) bears the initials "R.G." beneath Mary's sleeve.

12"H x 10"W x 2"D. 100% marble/resin composite. Casting is white with a slightly greyish hue, similar to the look of a marble statue.

Please note: each sculpture is hand-cast individually. No two are identical. Due to the nature of the casting process, minor imperfections (small marks or flecks, fine chips) should be expected. Though generally unnoticeable when hung on a wall, such imperfections add to the beauty and character of the piece, giving it the appearance of age and long provenance.
