They are the size of extra-large hen eggs (2-1/2" tall x 1 3/4" wide) and will fit in a standard cardboard egg carton. They have a flattened bottom for standing. I've sealed the wood with an all-natural food grade beeswax finish, to preserve the life of your toy. You'll also receive an egg carton with Urban Homesteader's "Eggs" label. These eggs will bring many hours of pretend play enjoyment.
The images in this listing show a basket with darker and lighter eggs. The darker eggs have been coated with beeswax (like the ones you will receive). Let me know if you'd prefer unfinished eggs. The images also show our two-month old Ameraucana chicks, Yin and Yang!
