I love silk, so I chose a gorgeous golden caramel coloured dupion silk to make the purse, which features a blackbird applique design on the front, also made from silk, which I hand dyed.
Inside there's a strong olive green cotton lining inside.
Great for storing your lovely things(or money)in!
This is one of a small series of blackbird purses I've made - each one is made from different fabrics, and ribbons so no two are ever the same.
Measurements:
13.5cm x 11.5cm approximately
4 and a half inches by 5 and a quarter inches.
